Do you have a Target gift card? If you do and recently used it, chances are you might not remember the exact gift card balance. 

The good news is you don’t have to guess the remaining balance. There are a few different ways you can find out how much money is left on your Target gift card. Here’s how to check your Target gift card balance. 

Options For Checking a Target Gift Card Balance

If you have your Target gift card handy, you can check the balance using a few options.

Check Your Balance By Phone 

According to Target’s Help Home, this can be done by calling 1-800-544-2943. You’ll be able to check your Target gift card balance and hear the last five transactions you made using your gift card.

Check Your Balance Online 

In order to check your Target gift card balance online, you’ll need to create a Target account. Those who already have an account can sign in using their username or phone number and password. 

Is the gift card saved on your account? Log in to your account and navigate to your account and name. Select gift cards and review gift cards. You should be able to see the remaining balance.

What if the gift card is not saved in your account? You can check a gift card balance after logging in to your Target account. Type in your valid 15-digit gift card number and access number. Both numbers are underneath the metallic strip on the back of your gift card. 

Peel off the strip and type in both numbers. Hit check balance. You should be able to see how much money is left on your Target gift card.
