Sam’s Club sells all kinds of spring cleaning items in bulk that are perfect for any budget. You can find vacuums, household cleaners, mops, dusters and more for a low price. However, some shoppers warned that some items aren’t worth the price.
According to Sam’s Club shoppers, here are five cleaning items you should avoid.
Swiffer Heavy Duty Dry + Wet Sweeping Kit Cleaning Tool
- Price: $10.98
This Swiffer sweeping kit comes with one Swiffer, dry cloths and wet cloths for harder cleaning jobs. Although this item doesn’t have a bad rating — four out of five stars — some Sam’s Club shoppers wrote in the review section that the wet cloths dry out quickly and push dirt around rather than hold on to it.
Member’s Mark Blended Mop Combo
- Price: $8.98
If you need a simple mop, avoid the Member’s Mark blended mop combo. More than half of the reviews were four stars or under. Several shoppers commented that the handle broke easily and it was designed poorly.Â
Swiffer PowerMop Multi-Surface Mopping Kit
- Price: $29.98
Another mop and Swiffer item. The Swiffer PowerMop multi-surface mopping kit received 166 one-star reviews, but it still received four stars overall. Sam’s Club customers claimed it was too heavy and the mop tended to fall apart during use.
ePro Select Cordless Vacuum
- Price: $79.98
If you’re looking for a cordless stick vacuum, the ePro Select cordless vacuum is an affordable option. Some shoppers were happy with their new vacuum, but many claimed it’s nowhere near as good as the Dyson or Shark stick and needs more power and a better battery.
POM Individually Wrapped Two-Ply Paper Towels
- Price: $35.83
If you’re looking for a good deal on bulk paper towels for spring cleaning, the POM individually wrapped paper towels may not be the best choice. These paper towels are two-ply, and shoppers pointed out they’re very thin and poor quality. They don’t tear easily, and it was also noted that you have to use too many towels to accomplish a task.
