What Is Nordstrom’s Price Match Policy?
Nordstrom also refers to its price match policy as “price adjustments.” Suppose Nordstrom or one of its identified competitors reduces the price of an item a customer purchases. In that case, Nordstrom will adjust the price within 10 days of the purchase or shipment date at the customer’s request.
If you request an in-store price adjustment or price match at Nordstrom, you must show Nordstrom a current printed advertisement or functioning online link to the merchandise on the competitor’s website. Nordstrom will adjust the price of the item you purchased and credit you back to your original form of payment.
Nordstrom’s price match policy has specific criteria for an item to be eligible. The item must be the same size and color and be in stock at both Nordstrom and the competitor.
Which Competitors Does Nordstrom Price Match?
Nordstrom considers items from the following national in-store and online retailers for its price match:
- Amazon
- Bloomingdale’s
- Finish Line
- Foot Locker
- Macy’s
- Mr Porter
- Neiman Marcus
- Net-a-Porter
- Saks Fifth Avenue
- Sephora
- Shopbop
- Ulta Beauty
- Zappos
Additionally, it also considers items from all vendor websites, such as the Free People, Kate Spade and Nike websites.
What Are the Exceptions to Nordstrom’s Price Match Policy?
There are some downsides to Nordstrom’s price match policy:
- No order-level discount, shipping offer or gift card promotion price matching
- No price matching or sale adjustments on outlet, auction, flash sale or club items
- No price adjustments on designer goods that were purchased at a sale price
- No matching prices from third-party sellers
- No price matching applied to Nordstrom’s Beauty Daily Deals, Anniversary Sales, Extra Savings, Limited-Time Sales or Daily Deals items
- Only one price match or price adjustment per item
Can I Request a Nordstrom Price Match Online?
To request an online price match on Nordstrom’s website, sign in to your Nordstrom account with your email address and password.
You can also request an online price adjustment or price match of a single order as a guest. On Nordstrom’s website:
- Navigate to the “Track and manage orders” page.
- Enter the order number from your packing slip or your confirmation email.
- Enter your ZIP code and select “Find order.”
If you picked up your item in a Nordstrom store and paid for it with a gift card, you’ll need to call 888-282-6060 for help with your price match request.
