Walmart’s Labor Day sale will likely offer deep discounts in every department as shoppers cap off the summer and prepare for cooler weather.
Here are ten items you shouldn’t buy at Walmart until September.
Home Décor and Furniture
The further from summer, the higher the discount on items like outdoor patio sets and grills.
- MF Studio, 7-Piece Patio Set: This elegant outdoor patio furniture set normally sells for $1,600 but was recently offered at half-price. Its cushions are processed with water-repellent, soil-release, and stain-resistant technology.
- Weber Summit S-670 Liquid Propane Gas Grill: The Weber Summit grill The Weber Summit grill has burners for searing, smoking, and rotisserie cooking styles. It originally sold for $3,650 and went on a mid-summer sale for $2,900. It’s likely to be discounted even further in September.

- Frigidaire Stainless French Door Refrigerator: Originally selling for $3,050, the refrigerator is now offered at $1,661. The price could be reduced even further as Walmart manages its inventory.
- Galanz French Door Beverage Refrigerator: It can store up to 167 beverages like water, juice, soda, or beer. Currently, it retails at $600 and is likely to go on sale in September as students and parents adjust to dorm life.

Major mattress sellers look to three-day weekends like Labor Day as an opportunity to move mattresses and lightweight bedding inventory before the upcoming winter holidays.
