Tariffs are expected to significantly drive up the cost of clothing, and it won’t only be fast-fashion items that are hit by price hikes. Luxury clothing will also likely be affected, as most designer brands manufacture abroad. Gucci, for example, makes most of its goods in Italy, which currently has a 20% tariff rate (10% baseline, plus the 10% on EU goods) on exports including apparel.

Saks Off 5th
