7 Costco Items You Should Buy in Summer To Maximize Savings

There are more ways to save money this summer at Costco besides shopping during the instant savings events. 

GOBankingRates carefully combed through Costco’s inventory to find seven items that save members the most money when they buy these products from the warehouse club. From pool noodles to name-brand refrigerators, here’s what made the list.

• Price: $79.99 for 4

If you’re looking for a top-of-the-line pool noodle, you’ve found it in the sports noodles from Cascade Mountain Tech. These noodles are made with triple-dip vinyl coating and are durable enough to float in pools, lakes and rivers.

Even though the $80 price tag for a set of four may seem pricey, it’s a deal compared to shopping on the Cascade Mountain Tech website. There, a single sports noodle retails for $39.99.

Costco members save $50 shopping for the Solo Stove bonfire essential bundle compared to shopping similar fire pits sold on the Solo Stove website.

This bonfire bundle comes with a stand, lid, pellet adapter and carry case. Use it year round as you camp at your favorite campsites and enjoy the warmth, extra light and ability to roast your favorite foods.

Members save $120 shopping for the adorable Delta Children tree bookcase at Costco compared to paying $199.99 on the Delta Children website. After just a bit of assembly, this bookcase has enough unique shelves for tidying up and displaying books, stuffed animals and small toys.

Whether you’re at the beach, the pool or hanging out on your patio or deck, the Tommy Bahama beach chair is a must-have for rest and relaxation. Available online only, each chair features an ergonomic pillow, is foldable and comes with a zippered pouch to hang onto personal belongings. 

GOBankingRates hunted down a similar beach chair for sale on the Tommy Bahama website and discovered their slingback chair retails for $225. That puts $125 back into Costco shoppers’ pockets!

Don’t miss your chance to shop the Bridgestone golf stand bag before it’s sold out online. This stylish bag features a four-way club divider, six zippered pockets and a large cooler pocket. 

It’s also much cheaper than if you bought it from the Bridgestone Golf website. A similar style, the Play All Day Stand Bag, costs $229.99 for a price difference of $150.

Let the music play during outdoor gatherings and save hundreds of dollars when you shop the JBL Boombox 3 Wi-Fi at Costco. 

Though the $400 price tag may seem like a lot, it’s almost $280 less than what you’d pay on the JBL website for the same wireless speaker model.
