Whether you’re shopping for necessities like groceries or for fun items — like that jacket you’ve had your eye on — you’re prepared for the reality that money is going out. But what if, when you shopped, you had a way to bring money back in?
Most shoppers don’t realize it’s easier than it seems — with a clear, smart strategy in mind and the right credit card to make it happen.
With the Navy Federal Credit Union cashRewards credit card, you could pocket an extra $250 just for doing your everyday shopping.
Who knew shopping could actually prove lucrative?
How to Earn a $250 Bonus by Finding the Right Credit Card
Here’s how it works: With the Navy Federal Credit Union cashRewards credit card, you can make the most of all your purchases — and when you spend $2,500 within 90 days of opening a new account, you could earn $250 in bonus cash.1
There are two types of cashRewards accounts: If you’re approved for a credit limit of $5,000 or more, you’ll get a cashRewards Plus card. If it’s less, you’ll get the cashRewards card. Both cards help you grow your money while you shop. With cashRewards Plus, you can earn unlimited 2% cash back, and with cashRewards, you can earn unlimited 1.5% cash back.
Each card has no rotating spending categories and no limit on how much cash back you can earn. You can start redeeming those rewards as soon as you earn them — there’s no minimum redemption amount, and rewards don’t expire while your account is open.
Even better? When you transfer your non-Navy Federal balance to a cashRewards Plus or a cashRewards credit card within your first 60 days, you could save even more with a 1.99% intro APR on that transferred balance for 12 months from account opening. After that, a variable APR between 14.65% and 18.00% applies. Plus, there are no transfer fees.2
Bottom Line
You’ve always prided yourself on being a savvier shopper than most people — and if you apply those smarts to getting a Navy Federal Credit Union cashRewards card, you could walk away with a $250 bonus.
