Truth be told, there are other places to shop that offer better deals than Amazon, including Dollar Tree. You’d be surprised by how many grab-and-go deals you can find for an affordable price.

You might find premium cards on Amazon, but Dollar Tree offers both branded and generic cards, sometimes two for the price of one. Plus, you can grab any gift bags and tissue paper you need. Amazon might give you a pack of cards or bags, but you might have to buy higher quantities and pay more in the process.
2. Seasonal Décor and Holiday Trinkets
Getting ready for any holidays? You’ll find plenty of options to decorate your kitchen table, walls and whole house at Dollar Tree for shockingly low prices.
You can find items like ornaments and small signs, or even prepare for Easter, once the new year rolls around. Amazon has many of these items, but when you add shipping (for those without Amazon Prime), it can get expensive.
3. Kitchen Basics and Must-Haves
If you want to save some money on essentials, you can always find affordable kitchen items at Dollar Tree. They are good enough for first apartments, backup tools or even dormitories if you’re prepping for college. You can find the same must-haves on Amazon, but why pay more when you can spend less?

Notebooks, pens, pencils and markers are all in great supply at Dollar Tree. They might not be the same items you’ll find on Amazon, but you can grab more of them and stock up ahead of time for only $1.25 each.

Branded pregnancy tests cost several times more on Amazon than the ones you’ll find at Dollar Tree. Both stores sell tests that work, but only one can be paid for with change from your purse.

Looking for scrub brushes, sponges or spray bottles? You can walk out spending less than $5 on a bag of cleaning necessities for your home.
Dollar Tree’s selection is generic but great for daily use. If you shop on Amazon, you can find bundles of what you need, but be warned, the price per item is higher.
