With most items priced at $1.25 or $1.50, the discount retailer stocks products that perform just as well as their expensive counterparts, sometimes saving shoppers $40 or more per item.

This one’s not a dupe because it’s literally the name brand product, just cheaper at Dollar Tree than most other stores. The discount retailer stocks Arm & Hammer powerfully clean liquid laundry detergent in 67-fluid-ounce bottles that handle up to 67 loads.
At other retailers, a comparable bottle of Arm & Hammer typically is currently selling for $27.99 on Amazon. Dollar Tree sells it for $1.25 in smaller bottles or up to $5 for larger sizes. Even at the higher Dollar Tree price point, shoppers save 40% or more compared to grocery stores.
Crayola Erasable Colored Pencils
Parents know the Crayola brand well, and Dollar Tree makes it affordable. The discount retailer stocks Crayola erasable colored pencils for less than Target charges.
The pencils are identical to what you’d buy at Target or Walmart. Same quality, same erasability, same vibrant colors. Dollar Tree simply offers a better price because it purchases in massive bulk and operates on lower margins.
Spa Luxury Brazilian Sol Body Butter
Sol de Janeiro’s Brazilian Bum Bum Cream became a cult beauty product thanks to its distinctive pistachio and caramel scent and rich moisturizing formula. The catch? A standard jar costs between $24 and $48 depending on size. Dollar Tree’s Spa Luxury Brazilian Sol Body Butter costs $1.25 for a 6-ounce jar.
The dupe has earned a 4.9 out of 5-star rating from 35 reviews on Dollar Tree’s website, with shoppers specifically calling out how closely it matches the original. One reviewer wrote, “I like it better than the Sol De Janeiro and you can’t beat the price!!!!” sharing they bought six jars at once.
Colgate Kids Toothpaste
Another actual name brand product that Dollar Tree simply sells cheaper: Colgate kids toothpaste in bubble fruit flavor appears regularly at the discount retailer for $1.25.
At grocery stores and drugstores, Colgate kids’ toothpaste typically costs $3 to $4.50. That’s a savings of $1.75 to $3.25 per tube, which matters when you’re replacing toothpaste every few weeks for multiple kids.
