How To Find and Use Your American Express High Yield Savings Login

If you need to log in to your American Express® High Yield Savings account, you have two options. You can either log in via the American Express, Member FDIC, online banking platform, or you can log in using the Amex app. Read on to learn how each option works, what to do if you lose your password and more.  

How To Log In to Your American Express High Yield Savings Account From a Computer

To log in online, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Savings page on the American Express website. 
2. Click the “Savings Login” button. You can find this button in the upper right corner of the page. 
3. On the next page, you’ll find a couple of options. One is for users with American Express credit cards. The other is for users without an American Express credit card. Choose the option that fits you. 
4. Enter your username and password to access your account. 

If you don’t have an American Express credit card, you’ll need to create a user ID and password for your account. To do so, click the “Amex User ID & password” link on the login page. 

How To Log In to Your American Express High Yield Savings Account on Your Mobile Device

You can also log in to your American Express high-yield savings account on the Amex mobile app. Follow these steps to do so:

1. Download the Amex app via Google Play or the App Store. 
2. Launch the Amex mobile app. 
3. Log in to your American Express high-yield savings account using your online user ID and password.

How To Retrieve Your Username or Password If You Forget It

If you forgot your username or password, follow these steps to retrieve your login information:

1. Load the Savings page on the American Express website and click the login button in the upper right corner of the page. Alternatively, open the Amex app.
2. Choose the option you would normally choose to log in. 
3. Click the “Forgot User ID or Password?” link.
4. If you know your user ID, type it into the field available. If not, click the “Don’t know your User ID?” link.
5. If you remember your user ID, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to update your password. If not, enter your email address and you’ll receive a message with your user ID.
