Most shoppers know certain Costco products aren’t exactly beloved by members. What is less known, however, are products that have hyper-specific complaints. After conducting an investigative deep dive on the Costco website, GOBankingRates was surprised by the nitpicks about items with the fewest complaints — they were not about saving money.
Read on to see which Costco products have the least amount of customer complaints — and what the few complaints on these beloved items were about.
Round Brilliant I Color Diamond Heart Earrings
- Price: $329.99
The complaint for these diamond heart earrings is carefully hidden in its five-star overall rating.
Deee writes that even though the earrings are pretty, it’s hard to tell the stone’s size in comparison to the bezel from viewing the picture alone.
Akoya Cultured Pearl Strand
- Price: $1,499.99
Reviewer Mark writes that although the Akoya cultured pearl strand is a beautiful necklace, it received a lower rating because of the product’s packaging and presentation.
“The pearls were in a plastic bag thrown into a box without any presentation form or setup. I’m glad I opened to check before I wrapped the box to give to my wife. I expected a little better presentation for $1,500.”
Jaclyn Women’s Halloween Notch Collar PJ Set
- Price: $17.99
We recently named the Jaclyn women’s Halloween PJ set as one of the best ways to spend $25 at Costco this fall.
But while 24 reviewers have thus far given the pajamas five stars, a dissenting review from Nancy5 recently gave the bedtime ensemble four stars. The reason? The clothes run a little small.
Lemon Women’s Turn Cuff Slipper Socks
- Price: $11.99
These Lemon slipper socks received negative feedback from reviewer Sooner regarding their sizing and fit.
“I wear a 7 1/2. To accommodate I had to get the 8. Too large. I will need to wear with my heavy wool socks.”
GAP Men’s Textured Hoodie
- Price: $18.99
Most Costco members praised the GAP men’s textured hoodie for its fit and look.
But every shopper’s a critic. In a three-star review, Gene wrote that the fabric was not as soft or cozy as most like and expect in a hoodie.
PUMA Kids’ Active Set
- Price: $14.97
Dig through the reviews for the three-piece PUMA active kids’ set and you’ll find just one quibble. Reviewer Espo writes it would be nice if these sets were available in a matching infant size.
Bottega Veneta BV1079SK Black Grey Sunglasses
- Price: $116.99
Buyer beware if you’re shopping for Bottega Veneta sunglasses. According to a four-star review from JStock, these sunnies “run a bit wide.”
adidas Midway Backpack
- Price: $34.99
The one issue reviewer Kris had with the adidas midway backpack was its sizing, which is not quite big enough to accommodate someone attending high school.
“Too small and not enough pockets for a high school student. May be a good option for elementary or middle [school].”
Spongelle Wild Flower Bath Sponges
- Price: $38.99
A lack of presentation with Spongelle’s wild flower bath sponges is the biggest issue for reviewer TickTock, who wishes they came in a gift box.
“I was getting ready to give these as a gift. They look really nice and smell great. However, they just come in a brown box. I was hoping at this price point they would be a little more presentable.”
