Target Adds Chrissy Teigen to Its Home Goods Celebrity Lineup

Cravings by Chrissy Teigen home goods and kitchenware is coming.

Target has announced a new collaboration with model and social media influencer Chrissy Teigen. The new line, called Cravings by Chrissy Teigen, will debut on Sept. 30, and will feature kitchen products and tabletop items. Teigen is also the author of a best-selling cookbook, “Cravings,” which will be followed up on Sept. 18 with a sequel, “Cravings: Hungry for More.”

According to Target, the collection will feature cookware, serveware, prep tools and tabletop items — in short, “everything you need to prep, cook and serve when entertaining friends and family.” The collection includes over 40 items, ranging in price from $4 to $140, and is exclusive to Target.

Chrissy Teigen’s History With Target

Teigen’s relationship with Target goes back to her first modeling job, which was a swimsuit shoot for a Target catalog. She also starred in the retailer’s 2016 holiday campaign.

Target’s Other Celebrity Collections

Target has seen success after launching another celebrity home goods line, as it recently expanded the Hearth & Hand With Magnolia collection of Chip and Joanna Gaines, stars of HGTV’s blockbuster show “Fixer Upper.” The line, which includes bath items and home decor, in addition to kitchen items and other home goods, was first released in late 2017.

Target has been enjoying record store traffic, citing traffic growth of 6.4 percent in the second quarter of 2018. Comparable sales increased 6.5 percent, the highest rate in 13 years. Earnings per share were $1.49, up 22.7 percent from last year.
