On June 22, “Jurassic Park” fans will flock to theaters to see the fifth installment of the successful blockbuster franchise, “Jurassic World.” Executive produced by the original title’s director, Steven Spielberg, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jeff Goldblum.
Altogether, the three original “Jurassic Park” movies took in more than $1.9 billion worldwide, The Wrap reported, and “Jurassic World” alone brought in over $1.6 billion globally, according to Box Office Mojo.
Forbes predicts “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” won’t necessarily match the success of the previous “Jurassic World” movie, but will still be one of the biggest films of the summer, with predicted earnings at $418 million domestically and $1.1 billion globally.
