Halloween is in a little over a month, so now’s a good time to go shopping for decor, candy, costumes and anything else you need for a good time. While some things (like candy) have a very clear expiration date, others can be packed away after the holiday and brought back out next year and beyond.
If you’re a bit of a frugalist or don’t particularly love shopping, your storage space is probably already full of reusable, recycled Halloween decor. But just in case you’re looking for something new that can be reused for many years to come, here are some great finds at Home Depot.
Orange LED String Lights
- Price: $9.98
Looking for some accent lights to make your home feel a bit more festive this Halloween? These 100L Orange Mini LED Lights are a great deal at Home Depot. Pair them with some purple LED lights and you’ll get some great, spooky vibes going.
These string lights can connect to up to 45 sets and can be strung up either inside or outside. Whether you want them around the fireplace or out on the back porch, you’ve got options.
Each string comes with 100 miniature bulbs spanning 28.8 feet of line. Since they’re LEDs, they use 80% less energy compared to incandescent bulbs.
Twinkling LED Bats
- Price: $29.98
Halloween can be spooky in a fun way. These purple and green bats twinkle in the dark and can illuminate the space around them.
Included are three bats, each of which is 12 inches, so you might want to grab a second or even a third set if you’re really feeling the theme. Plus, they’re energy-efficient and can last for a long time — well into next year’s Halloween and even beyond.
You also don’t need to worry about hanging them. They come with suction cups that can adhere to most vertical surfaces, including walls or shelves.
Twelve-Foot Pumpkin Skeleton
- Price: $379
If you want to go all out this Halloween, splurge for this 12-foot-tall skeleton. It has some wicked claws and a pumpkin head. It also has a chest and mouth that glow, and eyes that blink and move about — all for that added spook factor. It’s a great piece for any haunted house or even the front yard.
As far as longevity goes, it’ll last a long time, too. It uses a plug-in power adapter that keeps it on for up to six hours at a time — meaning you can keep it going late into the night. It’s also constructed from sturdy materials and comes with ground stakes to help keep it secure.
Blow Mold Pumpkins Multipack
- Price: $79.98
These matching pumpkins come in assorted sizes — one that’s 20 inches and three that are 10 inches. The designs are almost comically exaggerated as you’d expect from faux jack-o-lanterns. They actually look rather happy, which might be just the touch you need if you don’t want to scare the neighbors away.
Each pumpkin has a glowing orange light and its own cord, which can be plugged into an electrical outlet. They also use LED lights that can last a long time.
Skull Pathway Lights
- Price: $24.98
These battery-operated skull lights add Halloween flair to your walkways. Each one has red glowing eyes, a stake to secure them in the ground and looks creepily realistic.
Since they’re designed for outdoor use, they’re also sturdy and should be good for years to come.
Ghost Trio Inflatable
- Price: $79.98
If you love all things ghostly, look no further than this trio of inflatable ghosts. Each one has its own flickering LED light that makes them glow while illuminating the space immediately around them. They also come with ground stakes and tethers for easy installation outside.
When inflated, these ghosts are approximately eight feet tall. All you need to do is plug them into an electrical outlet and you’re set. But if you want to add just a bit more to your decor, consider grabbing some glowing pumpkins or bats, too.
Twelve-Foot Skeleton
- Price: $299
This one’s a classic for a reason. It’s a lifelike skeleton, only giant, that features spooky eyes that blink and move. Even better, these eyes come with eight different settings so you can customize them however you’d like. You can also position its limbs.
There’s also a built-in timer that lets you turn the skeleton on for six hours — perfect for once it gets dark. It’ll automatically turn off for the next 18 hours unless you adjust the settings.
Want to add to the overall look? Grab the Home Accents Holiday 7-foot Skelly’s Dog from Home Depot too.
Haunted Tree Inflatable
- Price: $49.98
If you want something more cute than scary, check out this inflatable tree. It stands at 7.5 feet tall and features a ghost, owl, and pumpkins. It also has bright white LED lights that illuminate it from within.
Plus, it’s waterproof and weather-resistant. It even comes with a built-in fan, sandbags, and ground stakes to keep it secure. Once you’re done using it for the year, simply unplug it and it’ll deflate. Pack it up, store it and bring it back out again next year.
