Heavy Duty Batteries
$1.50 Dollar Tree batteries listed as “heavy duty” mean they are not alkaline — and thus, do not last as long. Don’t run the risk of disappointment — invest in better quality batteries for long-term performance.
Tool Bench Multi Hammer Tool
A strong and sturdy hammer serves its purpose, but this $7 multi-hammer tool will unlikely last the test of time. When it comes to tools and hardware, you’re better off sticking to a less generic brand less likely to bend or break.
Earbuds
These Dollar Tree earbuds at $1.50 each come with widely mixed reviews that cause more buyers’ anxiety than warranted. With so much work and leisure done electronically and virtually today, stick to a tried-and-true brand that’ll seamlessly get you through all your calls.
Retinol Wipes
You’ll want to know what goes into your skin, especially if you’re pregnant or have sensitive skin. These retinol wipes that are $1.25 each don’t include enough detail about its ingredients to risk a nasty rash, as reviewers mention.
Cutlery Chef’s Knife
This Dollar Tree chef’s knife for $1.25 each doesn’t make the cut. A sharp, quality knife that doesn’t bend easily, makes your everyday life in the kitchen that much easier — and is worth a higher upfront cost. Look elsewhere for a high-performing knife.
