When it comes to shopping for your summer needs, Walmart is a clear winner. In GOBankingRates’ recent Summer of Savings survey, 37% of Americans reported that Walmart was their go-to destination, more than any other. (Only 4.6% of respondents will be doing their summer shopping at Aldi, in contrast.)

It’s no wonder, given how well Walmart keeps its prices low every day. These savings are augmented with a variety of special summer deals.

For everything from groceries to needs for your patios and backyards, check out these 10 deals that will save you even more this summer.

Fresh Seedless Watermelon

There are few things more refreshing than ice-cold, fresh watermelon on a hot summer’s day. However, watermelon is often fairly pricey. Walmart has you covered, almost halving the cost of watermelon from $8.98 per melon to just $4.68, a savings of $4.30 per melon!

Expert Grill Three-Burner Propane Gas Grill

What summer is complete without a grill for outdoor cooking? Summer heat makes indoor cooking a sweaty and thankless task.

Plus, with grilling, you can entertain friends and family without spending a bunch on fancy meal prep. Slap everyone’s favorite meat, veggie burger and veggies on your new Expert propane gas grill, with 300 square inches of cooking space, a warming rack and porcelain-coated cooking grates. It’s on sale at Walmart for $96, a savings of $11.

Danby Window Air Conditioner

Energy prices of late make keeping the air conditioning on in the house a pricey exercise, which is tough if you live in an especially toasty summer climate. However, just cooling down one room where you plan to spend most of your time can be a cost-effective strategy. The Danby 10,000-Btu window-mounted air conditioner can cool up to 450 square feet. Walmart has it on sale for $259.99, with a savings of $130 from its original price.

24 Pack of Dr Pepper Soda

When outdoor grilling, whether for the family or for entertainment, it’s nice to have a variety of cold beverages to choose from. Walmart has a 24 pack of 12-ounce cans of Dr Pepper — “the oldest soda in the country” — on a really good deal right now, just $12.38.

Intex Above-Ground Round Swimming Pool

Keep cool all summer long with your own above-ground swimming pool for ages 6 and up. Whether you just soak your own family on warm summer days or invite friends and family, you’ll be glad to have it at your disposal.

For those days you don’t feel like packing everyone up to the beach or the local swimming pool, Walmart has you covered. The Intex pool is 10 feet by 30 feet with a rust-resistant metal frame. It’s easy to set up and fill with a garden hose in about 30 minutes (though do note that a pump is not included), and it’s easy to drain. Walmart has an everyday low price of $116.99 on this.
