You’ve got an Easter basket and are ready to fill it up, but would like to save as much money as possible. What should you buy from Dollar Tree to appease kids of all ages while staying within a $10 spend limit?
GOBankingRates shopped Dollar Tree’s online inventory and chose seven items for $1.25 each to fill up an Easter basket. Our total spend came out to $8.75 with a little extra wiggle room to help cover sales tax.Â
While most of these picks are pretty traditional (every Easter basket needs candy!), we do have one or two wild cards like slime (yes, slime) that made it into the mix. Just trust us on these affordable buys to fill up this year’s Easter basket.
Reese’s Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs

Sweet-Treat Scented Slimes
- Price: $1.25
These sweet treat slimes were one of the toys recommended by Dollar Tree in their Easter shop to add into Easter baskets.Â
The rave reviews and the cheap price guaranteed inclusion on this list. With a wide variety of scents to choose from, like sprinkled doughnut and disco fever, your kiddo will delight in spending hours stretching and squishing this fluffy slime.Â
