Shopping at Costco feels like you are finding treasure when it comes to getting everything you need for your home. From food and essentials to clothes and even gasoline, Costco is the best place to shop with discounts all over the store and online. That said, are you sure, even as an avid shopper and member of Costco, that you’ve gotten all the best deals the big box store can offer?
Double check your list the next time you need to restock your home and make sure you get these four best kept Costco secret buys that most members never find:
Generic Allergy Medication
Are you feeling a sniffle coming on, but it isn’t a cold? You might need to head to Costco for some allergy medication that comes courtesy of the inhouse brand, Kirkland Aller-Tec.
“Bad allergy sufferers can save huge on Costco’s Zyrtec knock off!” shared Melissa Cid, consumer savings expert for MySavings.com. “Kirkland Aller-Tec comes with a whole entire year of pills for the price of one month of comparable allergy medicine at your local pharmacy or grocery store.”
Appliances
Costco shopper Melanie Musson shared that if someone buys an appliance from Costco, additionally, Costco will deliver the appliance to your house and, if needed, can take away your old appliance.
“Many people don’t realize they do that, and it’s a big deal because getting rid of old appliances can be frustrating,” Musson described. “They have many appliances available with rebates, including a Whirlpool top-load washer for $579.99 after a $200 rebate.”
Breaded Chicken Breast Fillets
Looking for some delicious chicken breasts from your favorite dining out spot, but want it at home? Head to Costco for huge savings on breaded chicken breast fillets that might not have been on your radar prior.
“I love telling families about Kirkland’s Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Fillets that are only $13.99 for a big 4-lbs bag,” Cid went on to explain. “These are restaurant-quality in taste, and are perfect for busy families like myself! I just put them in the air fryer and they come out quick and delicious. Serve them on a bun or melt cheese and pasta sauce for a chicken parmesan meal.”
Ecofoil Pans
Musson highlighted that you can get a 30 count of Eco-Foil Half Size Deep Steam Table Pans for only $12.49, something a lot of Costco shoppers might not have on their list.
“These pans are ideal for dropping off a meal for friends, bringing food to a barbecue or potluck, and for when you don’t want to do dishes,” Musson said. “Similar pans cost $3 or more at grocery stores, so the under-50-cents-per-pan price tag seems almost too good to be true.”
