Black Friday can be a great time of year to buy electronics. And if you have a Costco membership, then the savings is going to be even greater. If you’re a retiree and planning to do some electronics shopping on Black Friday, here are six things you should consider from Costco.

Ring Alarm

If you’ve been thinking about adding a security system to your home, Black Friday might be the time to do it. From Nov. 18 to Dec. 2, you can purchase an 8-piece Ring Alarm home security system for $119.99. This is $80 off the regular price.

This system will include the base station, keypad, range extension, motion detector, panic button and three contact sensors. This will only be available online at Costco.com and not available in stores.

Blink 8 Camera Security System

If you want a security system but would prefer to have cameras included, then the Blink 8 camera security system is a great option. Similar to the Ring system, this is only available online at Costco.com. This system includes four wireless outdoor cameras and two indoor plug-in cameras. You can snag this system for $199.99, which is a $200 savings off its normal price.

Google Nest Learning Thermostat

One of the best ways to save money on your heating and cooling bills is to have a programable thermostat. With the Google Nest Learning Thermostat you’ll not only be able to program how warm or cool you want your home during certain times of the day, but you can also let it program itself based on your activity. 

The regular price is $179.99, but starting on Nov. 18 and running through Dec. 2 the price will be marked down to $139.99.
