Is it time to buy some new clothes? Let’s be real, clothing is an essential, so you do need it. But let’s be more real: Unless you’re working in an atmosphere like that depicted in “The Devils Wears Prada,” you don’t need designer clothing. But, if you can find designer clothing at rock bottom prices that rival what you’d find at nondesigner retailers, then why not go for it?
Nordstrom Rack’s specialty is in retailing high-end luxury items for jaw-droppingly low prices. This February, Nordstrom Rack has an impressive array of designer items on sale. GOBankingRates rounded up eight that you should definitely check out if your frugal budget has some room this month.
Women’s Burberry Sunglasses
Burberry is a powerhouse in the luxury designer space — and the brand’s sunglasses are typically incredibly expensive. On the Burberry site, sunglasses go for up to $710 a pair. Nordstrom Rack prices don’t go anywhere near that. Check out the Joni 55mm Square Sunglasses by Burberry on sale for $119.97, down from $352.
Men’s Ray-Ban Sunglasses
At Nordstrom Rack, there is a fine selection of designer men’s sunglasses on sale, too. Consider the Erika 54mm Round Sunglasses by Ray-Ban, which are marked down 60%, from $170 to $67.47. Even on Amazon you won’t find this style of glasses by Ray-Ban for under $150.
Women’s Metallic Leather Jacket by Walter Baker
If you’re familiar with the designer Walter Baker, you’re well aware that this brand’s pricing does not run anywhere near cheap. And though $149.96 — the sale price for the Allison Metallic Leather Moto Jacket at Nordstrom Rack — may not seem cheap, it suddenly does when you realize that the comparable value of this item is $798.
Oversize Tote by Kate Spade New York
The Oversize Spade Flower Jacquard Stripe Manhattan Tote Bag by Kate Spade New York is on sale at Nordstrom Rack, now priced at $169.97, down from $498. The same bag, but in tan, rather than blue (which is actually more chic, in our opinion), goes $423 on the Kate Spade New York website .
Men’s Oxford Shoes by Magnanni
At Neiman Marcus, men’s oxford shoes by Magnanni retail for up to $995. Prices are far tamer at Nordstrom Rack, which has the men’s Reno Colorblock Oxford by Magnanni in stock for $171.47, marked down from $425.
Women’s Heeled Sandals by Vince
This is one of those Nordstrom Rack deals that is so impressive it makes you scratch your head as you wonder how it can be real. The women’s Qiqi Sandals by Vince are on sale for $44.99, marked down from $375. To see anything Vince going for under $50 anywhere is practically unheard of — even when it’s preowned, and these are new in the box.
Women’s High-Waist Ankle Jeans by Rag & Bone
In the realm of casual wear, including denim, Rag & Bone reigns as one of the most high-end brands. It’s not uncommon to see preowneditems by this hip designer go for hundreds of dollars on eBay. Nordstrom Rack currently has a fantastic deal on a few Rag & Bones items, including the Wren Ripped High Waist Ankle Slim Jeans, which are on sale for $59.96, marked down from $255.
Men’s Seersucker Chino Pants by Scotch & Soda
Even if you have no clue what the brand Scotch & Soda is or that at Neiman Marcus, a pair of men’s jogger pants by said brand goes for $138, you should check out Nordstrom Rack’s offerings here — the sales prices are that good. For example, the Stripe Seersucker Loose Tapered Chino Pants by Scotch & Soda are on sale for $19.98, marked down from $178. That’s a discount of 88%.
Editor’s note: Pricing is accurate as of Feb. 11, 2025. Prices and availability are subject to change.
