Shopping at Costco can feel overwhelming — in a good way. The warehouse club store is filled with savings opportunities, but some offer deeper discounts than others. If you purchased a Costco membership to maximize savings, you might be doing a lot of math to determine which items to purchase. Thankfully, you don’t have to figure this out for yourself.
Sarah Jankowski, director of user growth and integrated marketing at Shopkick by Trax, shared her picks for the ten best frugal buys at Costco in 2025. Keep reading to find out which items made the list.

Kirkland Signature Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Price: $27.99
“Olive oil is a cooking essential and makes all your favorite foods more flavorful,” she said.
Chances are, you won’t have to buy this kitchen must-have too often if you invest in the 2-liter bottle of Kirkland Signature Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Healthy and delicious, it’s first cold pressed and is produced from Italian-grown olives.

Cheerios
- Price: $8.49
If your household is like many, Cheerios are always in your pantry. Get more for less, as two 20.35-ounce boxes of Cheerios are priced at just $0.16 per ounce.

Quaker Chewy Granola Bars
- Price: $11.99
Priced at just $0.20 per bar, this 60-count box of Quaker Chewy Granola Bars contains an equal amount of two different flavors — chocolate chip and peanut butter.“Perfect for the kids, and between the chocolate and peanut butter options, these bars are perfect for breakfast, on-the-go and as an afternoon snack,” Jankowski said.

Kirkland Signature Rotisserie Chicken

Quite possibly Costco’s most famous product, the Kirkland Signature Rotisserie Chicken hasn’t gone up in price since 2009.
“A Costco staple, the rotisserie chicken is an excellent value for a ready-to-eat meal or meal prep base,” she said.

Kirkland Signature Mac and Cheese
- Price: $11.30, approx.
Delicious and easy, simply heat a pan of Kirkland Signature Mac and Cheese in the oven and serve it.
“A household favorite, mac and cheese can be modified in numerous ways for multiple occasions,” according to Jankowski.

Kirkland Signature Three Berry Blend
- Price: $12.51
A product of the U.S., this 4-pound bag of Kirkland Signature Three Berry Blend is kosher, with no added sugar or preservatives. Jankowski said this freezer staple has multiple uses, including smoothies, baking or a quick-antioxidant-packed snack.

Kirkland Signature Aller-Tec
- Price: $14.49
“To stay ahead of allergies and flu season, Costco medicine can be purchased in bulk for cheap year-round,” Jankowski said.
Compare to Zyrtec, each bottle of Kirkland Signature Aller-Tec comes with 365 tablets, offering relief from a variety of common allergy symptoms.

Kirkland Signature Bath Tissue

This pack of Kirkland Signature Bath Tissue comes with 30 two-ply rolls. Jankowski said this is an unbeatable deal, as it’s a fraction of a supermarket price.

Kirkland Signature Flex-Tech Kitchen Trash Bags
- Price: $20.99
You’ll likely be set for at least a year with this 200-count box of 13-gallon scented Kirkland Signature Flex-Tech Kitchen Trash Bags.
“All households need them, and 200 bags for this price is a deal shoppers won’t find anywhere else,” she said.

Kirkland Signature Moisture Shampoo
- Price: $11.99
Offered in a 33.8-fluid ounce bottle, Kirkland Signature Moisture Shampoo is 100% vegan and free of parabens, phosphates and dyes.
“We all need it, and the formula is comparable to Pureology Hydrate Shampoo, which retails at $90 for the same amount,” Jankowski said.
If you opt for the shampoo, she said to consider buying the Kirkland Signature Moisture Conditioner, also priced at $11.99 for a 33.8-fluid ounce bottle.
