A Sam’s Club membership is a goldmine of savings for budget-conscious shoppers. The warehouse club not only boasts a diverse range of products, from groceries and household goods to clothing, electronics, and jewelry. It also offers a private brand, Member’s Mark, exclusive to its 69 million members. Sam’s Club is a convenient one-stop shop that can help consumers manage their expenses while picking up everyday essentials.
Case in point: Kathi Lipp is an author, speaker & podcast host of Clutter Free Academy and Writing at the Red House, and has been a fan of the retail giant for the last four years. “I only discovered Sam’s Club when we moved to a new area, and I’ve never looked back,” she told us.
Besides high-quality Member’s Mark’s items, excellent value, and big savings, Lipp has another reason to shop at Sam’s Club.
“While I love the selection and prices, the thing that sold me initially was their curbside service,” she explained. “I love that I can order the night before and then just drive up and have everything packed into my car. It saves me an hour (at least!) every week.”
Lipp regularly stocks up on her favorite Member Mark’s items, and here’s what always makes her list.
Lunch Plates
- Price: $20.98 for 300
A must-have for Lipp is Member’s Mark ultra paper plates 8.5-inch. “Every year, we buy a pack of these for backyard BBQs, parties, picnics, and RVing,” she said. “They are the perfect size, plus they hold up under the weight of a grilled hamburger and all the sides.”
Parchment Paper
- Price: $15.48 for 205 sq. ft./roll, 2 rolls
Another go-to item for Lipp is parchment paper. ” I do a ton of baking, and this parchment paper is my go-to for not only cookies and bread, but now I use it in my air fryer almost daily, she stated. “I buy this about every six months because the rolls never seem to end.”
Facial Tissue
- Price: $13.98 for 80 tissues/box, 12 boxes
The ultra-soft 3-ply facial tissues are a great Member’s Mark deal that Lipp never passes up.
“As soft as the big brand, but such a great value (and when you live with someone who has allergies, that matters,)” she said. “We only have to buy these tissues a couple of times a year because they just last so long (and the patterns look great in any room.)”
Glass Food Storage Containers
- Price: $24.98 for 24 pieces
Lipp strives to live a clutter-free life, and the Member’s Mark glass food storage containers by Glasslock help keep her organized in the kitchen. “I am a meal prepper, and these containers are the perfect size to portion out lunches and dinners I bought one set and loved them so much, I bought a second,” she said.
Clear Cutlery Combo Pack
- Price: $14.98 for 360 pieces
Lipp enjoys entertaining and hosting, so she always has the clear cutlery combo pack on hand at all times, which includes forks, knives, and spoons.
“This clear cutlery is sturdy and looks great for nicer outdoor events, but is value-priced, so I don’t worry about taking it for picnics, lunches, or in our RV,” she explained. “I buy two packs a year for all the events that we host and keep a bag of them in the car for when a restaurant forgets to give us utensils.”
Paper Towels
- Price: $19.98 for 2-ply Paper Towels 150 sheets/roll, 15 rolls
There’s no shortage of paper towel brands to choose from, but Lipp swears by Member’s Mark. “What I love about these towels, besides that they are as strong as any name brand, is the fact that they are individually wrapped, so while I’m storing the 15 rolls in our garage, none of them are getting musty or dusty,” she told us.
Lipp explained how paper towels are also a money-saver.
“Because these sheets are smaller, I can tear off only what I need, making the roll last longer. In fact, I only need to buy these paper towels twice a year because of the way they are designed.”
