Target is gearing up to make holiday purchases and everyday essentials extra affordable. Whether you’re looking for a new household appliance, cheap gifts for the grandkids or grocery staples, you might be surprised at the savings you’ll find at Target.
Here are four deals to check out before the holidays at Target.
‘Deal of the Day’ Program
If you’re a Target Circle member, Target is offering special daily deals starting from November 1. These deals last only one day and can feature amazing discounts. These savings could really come in handy if you need to replace an appliance or buy a special gift.
Examples of deals you might see include the Dyson V8 Origin Stick Vacuum, originally $429.99, priced at $279.99 after a $150 discount with Circle. Additionally, the Keurig K-Mini Go coffee maker, originally $99.99, is priced at $49.99 after a $50 discount with Circle.
Toys Under $20
If you have young grandchildren on your Christmas shopping list, more than 50% of Target’s holiday toy stock is under $20. Preview those deals by going to the Target website and searching “toys under $20.” You’ll find plenty of board games, like Hasbro Gaming’s classic “Operation” game with doctor cards and classic ailments for $19.99, or “Pretty, Pretty Princess,” the classic jewelry dress-up game with more than 20 jewelry pieces for $17.99. You’ll also find a variety of Lego sets, including those featuring Minecraft and Marvel themes.
Holiday Items Under $10
If you’re in the mood for some festive holiday beverages and food but don’t want to spend a fortune, more than half of Target-brand items in this category are under $5, including gingerbread houses and activity kits.
Additionally, more than 80% of Target’s holiday Wondershop items will be priced at $10 or less. Wondershop items include indoor and outdoor decorations, Christmas trees and wreaths, wrapping paper, throw pillows, stockings, lights, figurines and ornaments. For example, you can find small Christmas treat gift bags for $0.50, large Christmas gift bags for $3 and 20-inch woven or embroidered Christmas stockings for $10.
Savings on Everyday Items
If you go to Target to check out some of these deals, take the time to shop the store’s everyday items also. Earlier in the year, Target announced price reductions on over 5,000 frequently purchased items — some of which could help you stock up for the season. Look for competitive prices on the following items and more:
- Milk
- Soda
- Bread
- Meat
- Fresh fruit
- Fresh vegetables
- Snacks
- Yogurt
- Peanut butter
- Paper towels
- Pet food
