Trader Joe’s is known for having delicious snacks and drinks all year long, but fall is particularly tasty. Though sometimes Trader Joe’s items can get a little pricey, shoppers swear these are worth whatever you need to pay.
Here’s a look at the fall items at Trader Joe’s you should get while you can.

Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese
- Price: $3.79
A little bit of butternut squash — a fall staple — mixed in with classic mac and cheese means a delicious chilly evening meal. Gabrielle Lask is a food content creator who goes by @kiko_eatz on Instagram and TikTok. She said she wasn’t sure about the Trader Joe’s butternut squash mac and cheese when she heard about it, but was immediately blown away when she tasted it.
“I was definitely skeptical since I’m a mac and cheese purist and tend to gravitate towards the classics. This led me to only purchase one box just to test it out, but I immediately regretted my decision after since I was unable to get my hands on another box the rest of the season. My advice would be to stock up cause this favorite will sell out.”

Pumpkin Brioche Twist
- Price: $4.99
“The pumpkin brioche bread is incredible for french toast! The slices are so thick and fluffy and the cinnamon swirls throughout are delicious,” Lask said about Trader Joe’s pumpkin brioche twist. There is not only cinnamon in the mix, but ginger and nutmeg, too. She said moist bread is so tasty that simply pairing it with butter will elevate your fall breakfasts.

Pumpkin Bread and Muffin Mix
- Price: $3.49
Is it even fall if you don’t taste any pumpkin bread or muffins? Lask recommended Trader Joe’s customers pick up the pumpkin bread and muffin mix to bake some delicious fall sweets. “Every year, I always buy the Trader Joe’s boxed pumpkin bread mix. I love baking, and this mix is so easy and delicious.”

Spooky Bats and Cats Sour Gummy Candies
- Price: $3.79
Some shoppers wait for Halloween just to pick up these sour gummy candies. Reddit user AwarenessFinal1543 posted on the Trader Joe’s subreddit, “Spooky Bats & Cats sour gummies — the most delicious, flavorful and best textured sour candy I’ve ever had!!” As an added treat, they’re made without gelatin and with natural flavors and plant-sourced colors.

Salted Maple Ice Cream
- Price: $3.79
Getting a pint of this salted maple ice cream is so good that multiple Reddit users on the Trader Joe’s subreddit talked about how quickly they eat it. User shaheertheone posted, “Wasn’t sure if I would like it, but I really did. Thankfully it’s real ice cream with real maple syrup, too. I can’t stand when ice cream is too aerated or diluted. The best way I can describe it is that it tastes like when you take a bite of waffle with a good amount of salted butter and maple syrup on it.”
