Tips for Maximizing Your CIT Bank Offers and Promotions

There are a few things you can do to get the most from your CIT Bank bonuses in the future:

  • Look at what CIT Bank offers at the end of each quarter or during the holiday season.
  • Maintain minimum balances to keep the bonus.
  • Don’t close your account too early or you likely won’t get to keep your bonus.
  • Set up eligible direct deposits so you fund the account properly.

Is CIT Bank Best for You?

Whether or not CIT Bank is a good choice for you depends on your financial needs. CIT Bank is not a full-service bank, so if you prefer branch banking, it’s probably not a good choice. The bank also has a limited number of products. Outside of checking, savings, money market and CD accounts, its only other products are loans. On the plus side, CIT Bank accounts don’t charge monthly service fees and pay higher-than-average rates.
