Current Synovus Promotions
There are currently no banking bonuses at Synovus. However, you can earn interest rates on your savings through their money market account.

Refer-a-Friend Program
Synovus has a Refer-a-Friend program, where if you refer someone to open a Plus, INspire or Budget checking account, you can receive a $50 bonus to your own checking account.
There’s no limit to how many referrals you can complete, though the cap is $500. You’ll receive $50 for every referral who completes the requirements for opening an account.
- How to get it:Â You must refer a friend or a family member to open a Plus, Inspire or Budget checking account.
- Terms and conditions:
- In the first 60 days, your friend or family member must have at least five debit card transactions.
- The account must continue to be in good standing.
- The program only considers new accounts that are opened — current customers can’t be referred.
- When you’ll get it: 120 days after your friend has opened an account and after meeting all qualifications
