As one of the largest banks in North America, BMO serves millions of customers across the U.S. and Canada. If you prefer handling your banking in person, it’s important to know BMO’s branch hours before you go. Here’s a look at their regular schedule and holiday hours.

BMO Hours on Normal Days

Most BMO branches keep pretty standard banking hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. BMO is open for a short time on Saturdays, making it a good option for customers who need to do banking on weekends.

Here’s a look at the typical schedule you can expect at BMO branches:

Day Hours
Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. — varies by branch
Sunday Closed

Before heading to your local BMO branch, call ahead or check online to confirm its specific operating hours.

Is BMO Open 7 Days a Week?

BMO doesn’t stay open seven days a week. While some branches open for a few hours on Saturday, the bank stays closed on Sunday.

BMO Hours for Holidays

Because it’s headquartered in Canada, BMO observes a slightly different holiday schedule than U.S. banks since it includes Canadian and provincial holidays.

Below is a list of holidays BMO typically observes, along with the relevant country.

Holiday Country
New Year’s Day Both
Martin Luther King Jr. Day U.S.
Presidents Day U.S.
Good Friday Canada
Victoria Day Canada
Memorial Day U.S.
Juneteenth U.S.
Canada Day Canada
Independence Day U.S.
Labor Day Both
Columbus Day U.S.
Veterans Day U.S.

BMO branches are closed on the holidays listed above, but hours may vary by location. Consider calling your branch to double-check before visiting.
