With perks like 3 percent savings on Walmart purchases, 2 percent on gas and 1 percent on everything else you buy, getting a Walmart credit card is a no-brainer for frequent Walmart shoppers. Once you have the card, you’ll need to know how to mail, phone in or make your monthly payments in person or online.
1. Make a Payment in Person
If you already have a trip to Walmart planned, just visit Walmart Credit Services and make your payment in person. Because the Walmart MasterCard is also accepted at any Sam’s Club, you can also make a payment at the customer service desk there. All in-store payments are processed within 24 to 48 hours.
2. Make a Payment by Mail
When you receive your Walmart credit card account statement in the mail, you’ll find an attached stub at the bottom you can tear off and mail back with your payment. If you lost your stub, mail your check to:
P.O. Box 530927
Atlanta, GA 30353-0927
Don’t forget to add your account number to the check’s memo section so the company knows where to credit the funds.
3. Make a Payment by Phone
You can always make your Walmart credit card payment over the phone by calling the Walmart credit card customer service number at 877-294-7880. The automated system will take you through each step of the process. Make sure you have the following information ready when you call:
- Your Walmart credit card account number
- Information for your debit card, checking account and routing numbers
If you don’t want to follow automatic prompts, a customer service representative can also handle your payment. That, however, will cost you an extra $10.
4. Make a Payment Online
If you’d like to make your payment online, just visit the Walmart credit card login page. If you don’t already have a Walmart login, you’ll need to register. Your Walmart online login will consist of a user ID and password you create.
Once you sign in with your Walmart credit card login information, look for a tab to make a payment. Then, just follow the directions to finalize your payment. All online payments are posted within two to three business days.
With so many options, you won’t have any trouble staying on top of your Walmart credit card payments. As a result, you’ll give your credit score a boost, which will help you qualify for higher end purchases in the future.
