  3. Next to your username, enter your password.

How To Log In to Your TD Ameritrade Account From a Mobile Phone or Tablet

TD Ameritrade offers apps on both Google Play and the App Store. You can log in to your mobile account with the same user ID and password that you use on the TD Ameritrade website.

You can also log in to your account using fingerprint authentication if your phone has the capability.

How To Retrieve a Forgotten User ID or Password

If you forgot your user ID, follow these steps to recover it: 

  1. Visit TD Ameritrade’s login help page.
  2. Click the “Retrieve user ID” button.
  3. Enter either your Social Security number, your tax ID number or your account number.
  4. Enter your last name.
  5. Enter your date of birth.
  6. Check the CAPTCHA box.
  7. Click the “Continue” button.

  2. Click the “Reset password” button.
  3. Verify your user ID.
  4. Verify your ZIP/postal code. 
  5. Click the “Continue” button.
  6. On the next page, indicate how you would like to receive the security code. You can choose to get it via text, phone or email. 
  7. Enter the security code you receive to reset your password.

How To View Your TD Ameritrade Statement Information 

You can access your TD Ameritrade statements online by following these steps: 

  1. Log in to your TD Ameritrade account with your user ID and password.
  2. At the top left of the page, hover over “My Account,” which will bring up a pop-up menu.
  3. Under “History & Statements,” click “Statements.” 
  4. Select which statement you would like to view.
